Over the past month, thefts of purses, in particular, in public transport have become more frequent in Uzhgorod. Almost every day, people post on Facebook reports and ask for help.
People complain that their purses have been stolen in buses and ask to return at least passports and bank cards.
Why do Uzhgorod residents write about it in social networks, and do not go to the police? The answer is the same: people do not believe that the police will find their things – hence, it is not worth wasting time on it. And there is a reason, because, according to the 0312.ua, for the last three months, only 10 statements about stolen purses have been filed to Uzhgorod Police Station. And only one case was solved.
