For over 20 years, Uzhgorod Music School No. 1 named after P. Tchaikovsky has been holding Christmas concerts at the Holy Cross Cathedral. The whole school prepares to this event.
Students of the school performed the pieces by P. Martin’s "Venice", S. Frank’s "PanisAngelikus", C.Saint-Saens, F.Schubert’s "AveMaria", J.S. Bach’s "Siciliana", and also "In the deep valley", "Black cloud in the window", "Shchedryk", carols, etc.
The Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv congratulated all those present on forthcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, wished them success, family comfort and peace. He thanked the Bishop Milan Shashik and the Assistant Bishop Nil for giving the children the opportunity to perform in the temple, the principal of the musical school Olena Okhrim, all the teachers of the school for the concert.
