At night, our compatriot tried to smuggle to Hungary a large amount of cigarettes. During the inspection of a car Fiat leaving Ukraine via the "Tisa" checkpoint, the border guards noticed suspicious changes in its constructive cavities. So, it was decided to inspect the car in depth. During the border and customs inspection, 1050 packs of tobacco products with labels "Duty Free" were found in the car. The contraband cigarettes were hidden in the design features of the headlights, in the instrument panel, in the gearbox niche and in the rear bumper of the vehicle.
As a result, the tobacco products hidden from customs control and the car "Fiat" costing almost 70 thousand hryvnias were seized in accordance with the current legislation.
