Spring conscription for regular military service in Ukraine will last from April 2 until the end of May.
This was stated by Artur Artemenko, the Chief of the Main Personnel Office of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the government’s decision, it is planned to draft 15,199 people during the conscription. Of those, 8,990 people will be sent to the Armed Forces, 1,000 – to the State Special Transport Service, 4,000 – to the National Guard, 1,200 – to the State Border Guard Service.
"UAH 61.6 million of expenditures for the conscription is scheduled to be transferred to all commissions by April 6", – he added.
