The Regional Philharmonic invites to a concert of guitar music (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The VI International Festival "Music Without Borders" is nearing finish. The program of the event was diverse and rich as never before. And the honorable mission to close this year's festival was entrusted to the only professional performer in Ukraine who masterfully plays both six-string and seven-string guitar. She is the soloist of Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic, laureate of international competitions Anna Tikhonravova.

Her repertoire includes Gypsy, Latin American, and Russian music. Despite the successful solo career, the artist prefers ensemble performance, and in 2004, she and Serhiy Tikhonravov formed the guitar duo "A&S". Virtuoso musicians have already played concerts in Bulgaria, Germany, Montenegro and other European countries. The highlight of the duo's performances is the Indian drums played by Serhiy and... inflammatory samba by Anna Tikhonravova - the musician has also been a winner of Latin American dance contests.

At the closing of the VI International Festival "Music Without Borders," there will be solo performances (six- and seven-string guitar), performance of the duo "A&S" and the guitar accompanied by the symphony orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.   The highlight of the concert will be the "Aranjuez Concerto" for the guitar and orchestra, which brought world recognition to the Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo. Conductor - Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Tsanko. The beginning is at 17.00.

Seven-string guitar has turned 225 years old, so we have a great occasion to celebrate this holiday!
