Tourists are advised not to take sandwiches to Hungary

Hungary continues to carry out enhanced control over the import of meat products from Ukraine.

Since, as we reported, an outbreak of African swine fever was recorded in wild boars in Vynogradiv district, it is forbidden to carry even ordinary sandwiches with meat products across the border from Hungary.

According to the Karpatalja.ma, currently, the Hungarian party has not received any evidence that the information about the disease was refuted. Recall that Kyiv experts did not confirm the infection in the analyzed samples.

Therefore, Hungarian publications advise tourists, who plan to travel to Hungary, not to bring even sandwiches to avoid troubles on the border. Currently, it is unknown for how long such restrictions will apply.
