How rescuers in Nyzhni Vorota extinguished a fire in a truck (PHOTO)

The incident occurred at the known post on the Transcarpathian roads.

Near the post in Nyzhni Vorota, a truck caught fire.

The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informs: on January 20, at 12:44, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in the village of N.Vorota in Volovets district.

While moving on the road Kyiv-Chop, a truck MAN caught fire. Having noticed the smell of smoke, the driver quickly stopped the vehicle near the gas station.

To eliminate the fire, firefighters of the State Fire and Rescue Post stationed in the village of Nyzhni Vorota and the 11th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Volovets were sent at the scene. In total, two vehicles and 8 rescuers were engaged.

At 12:53, the fire was contained and stopped from spreading to the trailer. At 14:10, the fire was eliminated completely.

The material damage and the cause of the fire are being established.
