The border crossing to Poland is planned to be opened on the territory of Uzhok National Park in 2018. This was recently announced by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy. The information was confirmed by the Director of the National Park Viktor Byrkovych, – Pavlo Fedaka said.
The village of Lubnya is situated on the Ukrainian side, the village of Wolosate – on the Polish side.
The photo shows the highest peak of the Western Bieszczady – the Tarnica mountain (1346 m above sea level).
Nearby, in the picturesque corner, the camping of Uzhok National Nature Park is situated. Also, in Lubnya village, there is a military cemetery of the Second World War, where soldiers of the Hungarian army were buried.
