The festival "Varosh beer" will be held in Mukachevo for the second time (ANNOUNCEMENT)
On September 14-17, the 2nd Beer Festival of Transcarpathia "Varosh beer" will take place in Mukachevo.
This event is the beginning of the restoration of beer tradition of Transcarpathia initiated by the Prince Ferenc Rakoczy II in 1701 with the signing of the letter on the establishment of the brewery in the village of Podgering (Pidhoryany neighborhood in Mukachevo) and continued by the Count Schönborn in 1728.
The food at the festival is provided by 8 restaurants and chefs, there is a themed beer menu: chicken wings, lamb and pig ribs, potatoe, roasted and smoked quail, sausages, knuckle, pig ears, grilled and deep fried vegetables, dumplings with sauces and garnishes, stewed cabbage, sliced meat (pastrami, ham...), pickled snacks, various cheeses to beer, fish and cheese sticks, dried, smoked fish, crabs and more.
The festival camp will be open daily from 11:00 to 21:00.
Entrance to the territory is free!
