Moskal suggests to make only one amendment in the law on education

– None of the languages ​​of the European Union, which are native to national minorities living in Ukraine, pose a threat to the functioning of the Ukrainian as a state language, – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal says.

– Ukraine has chosen Eurointegration, the Civil Service Law clearly states that as of May 1, 2018, all applicants for a civil servant of A category should have fluent command of English or one of the languages ​​of the Council of Europe (which includes 47 countries).

The law on education adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which is aimed at protecting the Ukrainian language through the dominance of Russian life in many spheres, may set Ukraine at loggerheads with its neighbors – members of the European Union that support our country in European integration processes and oppose Russia’s aggression in the Donbas. In order to prevent this, only one amendments should be made in the law on education – the law does not apply to the languages ​​of the European Union.
