The theater will be situated in the building of the former district house of culture in the very center of Khust, which should yet be fixed up. The design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction is almost ready. They will repair the roof and finish administrative buildings, update the facade, make an orchestra pit, and renovate the audience hall. By the way, it is a very spacious hall, designed for 360 spectators. The repair work will be financed from the city budget and from the State Fund for Regional Development, and the theater will continue to be maintained at the expense of the regional budget.

The company will consist of 26 actors, it has been already partly formed.
The theater will start working before the completion of the reconstruction, the first performance will take place this year. It was decided that it will be the play by Ivan Kotlyarevsky "Natalka Poltavka". The new theater, which has regional status, will give Khust a powerful impetus to the further growth. In recent years, this city, the former capital of the Carpathian Ukraine, has been developing very rapidly - it has long been second to Uzhgorod in terms of economic performance, cultural development and tourism attractiveness.
