On Saturday, October 14, on the day of the great Christian holiday of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on the occasion of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, a number of solemn and festive events will take place in the regional center of Transcarpathia.
The events will begin at 11.00 on the "Hill of Glory", where flowers will be laid to the graves of the fallen soldiers and the Eternal Flame. Then the festive procession will march from "Hill of Glory" to Narodna Square. In this regard, during the march, vehicular traffic on Sobranetska street, Zhupanatska Square and Dovzhenko street will be partially blocked.
An exhibition of military equipment and weapons will be held on Narodna Square.
Uzhgorod residents and guests are invited to join celebration of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine.
