As a result of an accident in Tyachiv district, a woman ended up in the hospital (PHOTOS)

In the village of Teresva, the driver of an "Opel Astra" hit a pedestrian. An investigation over this incident has been initiated.

On October 28, a female pedestrian was injured in an accident in Tyachiv district. According to the investigators, who arrived at the scene, a 25-year-old driver of an "Opel Astra" hit a 22-year-old resident of Teresva village who had ran onto a carriageway from behind to another car parked on the roadside. 

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian suffered multiple injuries. She was admitted to Tyachiv district hospital, where she remained for inpatient treatment. The car was taken to the impound lot of Tyachiv police station. 

At present, criminal proceeding has been opened under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of rules of road safety or operation of transport by a person driving a vehicle that caused injuries to the victim). 

The investigation continues.
