Officers of Rakhiv police department are establishing all the circumstances of the accident in the village of Yasinya resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The police have initiated a criminal proceeding.
Yesterday, November 21, the police received a report of a fatal accident in the village of Yasinya in Rakhiv district. The Patrol Police response team and the investigative team established all the circumstances of the road accident at the scene. Law enforcers found out that around 11.50, in the village of Yasinya, on Myr street, on the highway Mukachevo-Rohatyn, a 37-year-old driver of a motorcycle "Mustang" lost control and drove into a concrete fence. The man was a local resident. He was riding on an unregistered vehicle without a helmet.
The man died on the spot from injuries.
The police started criminal proceeding over this incident under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is violation of the rules of road safety or operation of vehicles by drivers resulting in death of a person.
