He was a bold innovator in art, rejecting all kinds of conservatism and petty bourgeoisie. He passionately loved the works of Byron, Jean-Paul, had a considerable literary talent himself and even wanted to be a writer before becoming a musician.
He is the famous romantic composer Robert Schumann, whose music you will be able to enjoy on March 28 in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. The program will be made up of the Symphony №4 in D minor and the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in A minor. The first piece embodies the mood of all Schumann’s symphonies – bright, cheerful, with elements of dance and song lyrics.
And the second one is considered of the most famous works of this genre in the German Romantic music.
Anastasia Tolstonoh (piano, Kyiv) and the Symphony Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic will take part in the concert. Conductor – Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Svalyavchyk-Tsanko. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR. The beginning is at 18.30.
