The Memorandum of Cooperation between Uzhgorod City Council and the "Oschadbank of Ukraine" JSC was signed by the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv and the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the bank Hryhoriy Borodin.
The signed document is one of the first steps in the implementation of the project "Municipal Card" for Uzhgorod residents aimed to improve social protection, the development of cashless payments and access to many services.
In addition to the range of banking services, the multi-functional international plastic card will serve primarily for pension and social payments, receiving payments for utilities, city transportation. Subsequently, numerous other services may be added to the "Municipal card", including discounts on medicine, social goods. Uzhgorod city council and experts of the "Oschadbank" will continue developing decisions and documents, carrying out practical steps towards the implementation of this major project.
