On March 9, the concert "Word of the Poet through the ages…" will take place in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic in honor of the 203 anniversary of the famous writer, artist, thinker, passionate patriot of Ukraine Taras Shevchenko.
The Symphony Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, the amateur vocal ensemble of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts, popular trio of bandura players "Mahichni struny Karpat", students of Uzhgorod State Music College Nicoletta Hertsak and Serhiy Truntayev, the amateur folk dance ensemble "Kolyory Karpat" of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts, actor of the Transcarpathian Regional Drama and Comedy Theater, Honored Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Furda and honored academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir will perform patriotic songs.
The concert starts at 15.00. The admission is free.
