Moskal sarcastically commented the “horror stories” about Transcarpathia being spread by Sadovy

The claims spread by the Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy that 30 – 40 percent of Transcarpathians have citizenships of other countries are not true.
– I am personally very suprised to hear such statements from such a serious politician – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal said. – Because I can not even imagine where he gets such an information. Did Mr. Sadovy personally visited every household in Transcarpathia and count citizens of foreign countries?   Why are you putting labels on Transcarpathians who "only think about selling Ukraine and becoming citizens of another country?"

This is completely irresponsible! All kinds of experts, journalists and politicians, most of whom have never been in Transcarpathia, keep telling various horror stories about our region with regard to foreign citizenship (especially Hungarian). But even Nasirov’s Hungarian passport, which was shown in the national media, was a fake – I found it out from my own sources.

I have only one explanation for the statements of Mr. Sadovy – maybe he holds a grudge because we refused to take garbage from Lviv. You should understand that more than half of Transcarpathia is covered with mountains, we do not have enough landfills, we are buried in garbage as it is and even "export" it to Hungary and Slovakia by rivers. Therefore, this refusal is quite justified. You can not spread nonsense about the neighboring region, and you need to get rid of the trash not only in the streets, but in your head too!
