Next week Wednesday, when the anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine will be celebrated, will be a day off in Transcarpathia. The relevant order was signed by the head of the RSA Hennadiy Moskal.
– On March 15, 1939, the Soim of Carpathian Ukraine proclaimed state independence and adopted a constitution, which defined the state language as Ukrainian, state flag as blue and yellow flag, coat of arms as the image of a bear with blue and yellow stripes and a trident and the anthem as "Ukraine has not perished "- H. Moskal said. – In 2002, the President of Carpathian Ukraine Augustin Voloshin, on the initiative of the Regional State Administration, for the first time in Ukraine was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. March 15, 1939 is one of the most important dates in the history of Transcarpathia, therefore this day deserves to be a holiday.
According to the order of the head of the Regional State Administration, heads of district state administrations, managers of enterprises, institutions and organizations are recommended to move the working day from Wednesday, March 15 to one of the Saturdays of April, when the traditional spring cleaning will be carried out in the region, the press service of the RSA informed.
