Mukachevo police seized 100,000 worth of amphetamine (PHOTOS)

The police seized the prohibited substances weighing 50 grams and sent them for examination, the investigation over this incident has started.

Mukachevo police officers had an information that a 25-year-old local resident was engaged in sales of drugs in the city and district and keeped them at his place of residence.

Yesterday, May 22, the police, having received sanction of the court, conducted an authorized search in the house of the man. 

Overall, during the search, they seized 14 sealed syringes with a crystalline light brown substance, electronic scales, foil and bags.

In addition, the police officers had information that on the same day an unknown person had purchased drugs from the man, in whose house the search was conducted. The police found the 29-year-old man and seized from him a foil roll containing a substance looking like methamphetamine, weighing 1 gram.

The seized substance was sent for examination. These facts were registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations and criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
