The police found a Transcarpathian who robbed his colleague's bank card and left the region

Mukachevo police tracked down a 26-year-old resident of Mukachevo suspected of stealing 12,000 UAH from his colleague's credit card. After withdrawing the cash, the man and his family were hiding in Kherson region.

Recently, a man appealed to Mukachevo district police with a statement about the theft of his bank card. According the victim, he and his friend, whom he was suspecting of the theft, for a long time were working as guards at a private enterprise in the city of Mukachevo.

On the day of the theft, his colleague suddenly left his workplace and never returned. As it turned out later, the suspect had stolen his friend's card, withdrew cash from it and left the region together with his family.

The police were searching for the man in a criminal proceeding opened under Part 1 of Art/ 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - theft. He was found in a village in Bilozersk district of Kherson region.

The suspect has been previously brought to criminal responsibility for property crimes. The pretrial investigation into this incident continues, the punishment for the suspect will be determined by court.
