Uzhgorod residents saw and heard many interesting things during the "City Workshop". There is a good news for cyclists too: the Deputy Mayor of Uzhgorod Igor Fartushok said that they are actively working to attract grant money for arranging 5.6 kilometers of bicycle paths, particularly on the city embankments.
The total funding under the grants of cooperation between Ukraine and Poland is more than 1 million euro, our city will receive about 40% of this amount – the press service of the City Council informs.
So, Uzhgorod can receive 400,000 euros (over 11 million hryvnia) to build quality bicycle infrastructure in the city.
