Quest "17 UN sustainable development goals" was held today in Uzhgorod during the festival "City Workshop" at Nezalezhnist embankment, 6.
9 teams participated in the quest: "Enforcers of order" – a team of patrol policemen, "Eco Ungvar" – a team of volunteers of the festival "City Workshop", "Hurricane" and "Tornado" – a team of Uzhgorod city council, "Business Sharks" – a team of entrepreneurs, and three teams from UzhNU – "Plus-Minus", "Students of UzhNU" and "Innovative UzhNU."
The teams were given tasks to find 17 different places, institutions or landmarks that are associated with one of the 17 goals of sustainable development, namely poverty reduction, hunger reduction, good health, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, renewable energy, decent work and economic growth, innovation and infrastructure, reducing social inequality, sustainable development of cities and communities, responsible consumption, combating climate change, conservation of marine ecosystems, conservation of terrestrial ecosystems, peace and justice and partnership for sustainable development.

This quest helped each participant to think about the issues that humanity face today, to show their intelligence and skills, to establish friendly relations within the team, to learn more about their city and eventually to receive useful gifts, eat cakes and congratulate their competitors. Although the team of the City Council "Hurricane" earned most points, all participants actually won, as they became close to understanding the development goals, understanding the issues of the modern world.
