In Uzhgorod, on Bercheni street, vehicular traffic will be blocked for two days

Today employees of the contractor company were raising manhole openings as part of the repair of Bercheni street in Uzhgorod.
The foundations of the manholes were raised after laying of the first, leveling layer of asphalt, which was done on Bercheni street on June 2. Tomorrow and the day after, June 15-16, under favorable weather conditions, they will complete the work by laying the final layer of asphalt on the roadway. In this regard, vehicular traffic will be blocked.
The manholes on the roadway of this street are parts of water supply and sewage networks. After the repair, manhole covers will be installed flush with the asphalt surface, – the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv reminded contractors about the obligation to comply with the requirements of the state standards and responsibility for quality of work.

By the way, on the new covers, that were installed instead of stolen ones, there are labels warning that such thefts are punishable by law.
