At the exit from Beregovo toward Vynogradiv, a "VAZ 2101" rammed a "Volkswagen Caddy" resulting in two persons getting injured. Criminal proceedings over this incident have been initiated.
Yesterday, June 27, the Rescue Service "102" received the report of a car accident on the outskirts of Beregovo. The investigative team at the scene found out that the driver of the "VAZ 2101" had failed to keep safe speed, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with the "Volkswagen Caddy". As a result of the accident, the driver and the passenger of the "VAZ" were taken to Beregovo district hospital. The driver of the "Volkswagen" was tested, he was sober. He and his passenger did not receive serious injuries.
The cars were delivered to the impound lot of Beregovo Police Department. A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is violation of the rules of road safety or operation of vehicles by drivers.
