A children’s master class in pottery took place at the “City Workshop” (PHOTOS)

A master class from the children’s pottery "Magic pot" was held for children for the second time during the festival "City Workshop", which is taking place in Uzhgorod at Nezalezhnist embankment, 6.

The children were working under the guidance of potter Oleksandr Senko, volunteers of the festival were helping them. The master class was held in three stages, at the first one, a group of children from the kindergarten number 40 were making simple geometric shapes.

Older children at first helped the younger kids, and then started to work themselves. They were making more complex shapes – lambs or birds.

At the third stage, Oleksandr Ivanovich demonstrated for everyone the technique of working with clay on the mechanical potter’s wheel. Then, visitors could try to work with clay on an electric potter’s wheel, which is easier to work on as you don’t have to spin it with your feet and can focus on movements of the hands.

The master class in pottery yesterday was a great success, most guests, who were at the first master class on Tuesday, came again yesterday, and many of them would like to attend the pottery workshop regularly.

Recall that yesterday, at the "City Workshop", they celebrated the International Day of Yoga.
