Transcarpathian rescuers received a charitable aid from the Hungarian colleagues

On July 11, the delegation of Hungarian firefighters visited the city of Tyachiv. This meeting was a continuation of the cross-border cooperation between rescuers of Tyachiv district and firefighters of the Hungarian city of Jászberény, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region informs.

The foreign colleagues headed by the head of the Foundation for Public Assistance of the city of Jászberény Tibor Fuzer visited the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit and during a solemn ceremony presented their Ukrainian colleagues European fire equipment. The gifts include: 20 sets of combat wear and 40 sets of workwear, 15 fire helmets and 20 pairs of boots.

Tyachiv rescuers organized for the guests a kind of tour during which Hungarian firefighters had the opportunity to get acquainted with fire-rescue tools, machinery and equipment used to eliminate the effects of different kinds of emergencies and the organization of guard duty in the unit.
