No surprises. The Executive Committee will not be dissolved and the resignation of the Mayor of Uzhgorod will not even be discussed today

Uzhgorod City Council session continues. There are reasons to expect the regular meeting to be interesting if not exactly heated.

Thus, the controversial draft decision on the resignation of Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv was still included to the agenda. It was also planned that during the meeting, two other interesting decisions will be considered – about the early termination of the powers of the secretary of the City Council and the dissolution of the Executive Committee.

That is, a number of issues on the changes in the city leadership was to be considered today. But deputy Mykhailo Churylo (party "Patriot"), who proposed the aforementioned drafts, asked to withdraw the draft decisions on the Executive Committee and the secretary of the City Council from consideration.

Subsequently, Vasyl Homonay ("Vidrodzhennya") proposed to withdraw from the agenda the draft decision "On consideration of the local initiative for the early termination of powers of the Mayor" initiated by Viktor Shchadey ("Batkivshchyna"), as the consideration of such issue requires to collect signatures of the city residents in an amount exceeding the number of people who cast their votes at the election.

So the session will take place without the hottest agenda issues, so to speak, in normal mode.
