This year, 85 couples in Transcarpathia have taken advantage of the service "Marriage in 24 hours". The Nevytsky castle in Uzhgorod district was added to the list of locations, where the state registration of marriages is carried out. This was reported during a briefing by representatives of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in Transcarpathia regional, which took place on July 27 at the Press Center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The project for issuance of birth certificates in the maternity hospital was also successful. Over six months, more than one and a half thousand families have taken advantage of this service. Currently, 12 registrar’s offices accept documents and issue birth certificates in maternity hospitals in Transcarpathia.
The bodies of the State Bailiffs’ Service of Transcarpathia set up a clear and transparent system for free transfer of confiscated property to the state. According to Viktor Ovchinnikov, the deputy head of the State Bailiffs’ Service, during the first six months of this year, 6 vehicles were transferred to the military and the State Emergencies Service Office in Transcarpathian region.
More than three and a half thousand Transcarpathians have taken advantage of free legal aid service during this year. This was informed by the director of the Regional Center for the Provision of Free Secondary Legal Aid in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Popadynets. According to him, citizens’ appeals mostly concern the resolution of land and housing issues.
According to the reported data, during the first half of the year, three new media have been registered in Transcarpathia. All are newspapers.
