A plaque to the hero killed to the ATO will be set up in Mukachevo

Members of Mukachevo city council supported the appeal of the Hero of Ukraine, the commander of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade Colonel Serhiy Shaptala to perpetuate the memory of Captain Denis Kiselyov.

Thus, by this decision, the memorial plaque will be set up on the building of Mukachevo school №10, Mukachevo city council reports.

Denis Kiselyov, a resident of the city of Mukachevo in July 2014 was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

Denis Kiselyov died on February 18, 2015, covering the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops when leaving Debaltseve bridgehead.

By the Decree of the President of Ukraine of May 15, 2015, Denis Kiselyov was awarded with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky of the III degree (posthumously) "for personal courage and professionalism in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to military oath." By the decision of Mukachevo City Council of May 28, 2015, he was awarded with the title "Honorary Citizen of Mukachevo" (posthumously).

Recall that the other day it became known that another Transcarpathian – Volodymyr Brychak from Beregovo – was killed in the ATO area.
