Uzhgorod Oleksandra Harkusha publishing house is the winner of the rating “Book of 2016” (PHOTOS)

Famous artist and publisher Oleksandra Harkusha told about the event on her page on Facebook: 
"At the National rating "Book of the Year 2016", we won the first place in the category "Advertising card" (local history and tourism literature) for the publication: Florian Zapletal "Wooden Churches of Transcarpathia"; "Towns and Villages in Transcarpathia."
On February 17, 2017 at the National Library of Ukraine named after VI Vernadsky, there was the ceremony of honoring the winners of the XVIII National rating "Book of the Year 2016" which was held in a warm, festive atmosphere thanks to patriots and promoters of UKRAINIAN BOOKS – Kostyantin Rodyk and Galina Rodina. 
This year, 1098 publications were competing for laureate title in seven categories (with three sub-categories in each) corresponding to the main sectors of Ukrainian book market.
The winners of the book rating were determined by a group of 76 experts – leading critics, scholars, famous writers, political scientists, journalists, MPs, heads of government agencies."
