Ukrainian-Slovak exhibition crossed the borders and came to Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Today, the exhibition of artists from Slovakia and Ukraine was presented in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and the Regional Council building, the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.

The exhibited collection is the result of the work of the international creative camp "ACROSS THE BORDER I", which was held in August-September 2016 in the village of Bežovce (near the Slovak-Ukrainian border).

The camp, in turn, was organized in the framework of cross-border cooperation "Partnership sealed with clay" established by the organization "ANNOGALLERY" (Slovakia) supported the Norwegian financial mechanism and the government of Slovakia. The project, which started in 2015, has already managed to implement many different creative initiatives on both sides of the border, in particular those relating to fine arts (exhibitions, open-airs, etc.).

The visitors of the show emphasized that in recent years the cultural cooperation between Transcarpathia and Slovakia has noticeably intensified, which we should largely owe to Jankai Burianova, who recently finished a diplomatic mission as the Consul General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod.

So far, the exhibition has been prsented in ten cities in Slovakia. In Uzhgorod, it will last until March 9, after which the collection will be presented in Kyiv.
