According to Transcarpathian forecasts, during the day on February 23, rainfalls in Transcarpathian region are expected to continue, the heaviest ones will be in mountainous districts of the central and eastern part of the region.
Increased water content on the rivers will remain, with fluctuations of water levels within 60 cm. On the Tisa (V.Bychkiv to Vylok), water level will continue to rise by 1.5-2.0m, in lower reaches of Borzhava – by 0.4 – 0.8m above the levels of 8:00 on February 23. In lower reaches of the Borzhava, water is expected to break onto the floodplain, there may be flooding of farmland in the villages of Zarichchya, Siltse, Kamyanske, V.Komyaty, the road Shalanky – V.Komyaty.
