The Security Service of Ukraine prevented possible provocations during the protests of car owners in Transcarpathia

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region prevented possible commission of unconstitutional actions and other provocations during planned protests of owners of cars with foreign registration in Uzhgorod, the Press Group of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informs.
Law enforcers have found a local resident who called through social network to protest and to seize power with arms. This citizen was notified of being suspected under Part 2 of Art.109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of imposing on him a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention is being decided.
One of the organizers of the protest was officially warned by the Regional Office of the Security Service about criminal responsibility for crimes against national security.
The security service will continue to respond adequately to manifestations of separatism and anti-constitutional activity, – the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Oleg Voevodin said.
