Czech employers ask to simplify employment for Ukrainians

The country is desperately short of labor, which they try to compensate with workers from Ukraine – the Mukachevo.net informs.

Official registration of a Ukrainian takes up to 6 months, and the government’s program of legal employment of Ukrainians does not work in practice. Last year, all quotas were exhausted by June. This was stated by Czech employers.

Currently, the country is short of 140,000 workers, and the government set a quota for Ukrainian workers at 3800.The Czech Union of Entrepreneurs believe that it is not enough.

– We call upon the Government of the Republic to urgently adopt a proposal to increase the human resource capacity of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior to speed up processing of more requests for labor cards and help companies provide for lacking human resources for production and services – the entrepreneurs’s statement says.
