Children’s railway club has reopened in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

– Another good news in Uzhgorod today – he writes. – The children’s railway club has reopened after more than 10 years break. Now, Uzhgorod students can get acquainted with all the in’s and out’s of Ukrainian railways and even learn a new profession of machinist, conductor, dispatcher and so on.

Today, at the introductory lesson, children were told interesting facts about operation of the railway. Children also saw the "brain" of the railway – control room – the place where the whole complex logistics takes place.

In winter and spring time, children will be learning the theory, and in early summer, they will be able to put this knowledge in practice working at the Uzhgorod children’s railway.

Uzhgorod is one of the six cities of Ukraine, which have its own children’s railway. And if for some people it is just a fascinating attraction, for others the railway could become a career in life, the organizers of the club believe.

Currently, the club will be working once a week, on Fridays, at 15.00, at the railway office, on Tykhy street.
