Transcarpathia has received UAH 242 million 169.2 thousand subvention from the State Budget for implementation of measures for the development of the health care system in rural areas.

- Since we have a large percentage of the rural population, the region has received the second largest subsidy following Lviv region, - Hennadiy Moskal emphasized. - All this money will be used to improve the medical care for the rural population. This includes, first of all, the reconstruction of existing outpatient facilities (and, if necessary, the construction of new ones) with housing for workers, the purchase of new modern medical equipment and transport, the provision of broadband internet connection and telemedicine (for consultation with medical centers through video communication) and so on.

These funds will be used for the apprapriate purposes in the next year.
