The exhibition "Origami in Ukraine. Christmas fantasy" will open in the Uzhgorod museum (ANNOUNCEMENT)
As part of the celebration of the Year of Japan in Ukraine and with the official support of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, on December 27 at 15.00, a personal exhibition of a member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, the head of the origami club of the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth, curriculum developer of the Small Academy of Sciences (SAS) Oksana Libak will open in the exhibition halls of the museum.
Today, Oksana Libak is the head of the "Origami" club of the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth. In the work of Oksana Libak, there are recurring themes: plane transformation, modular origami, kusudami.
As a curriculum developer of the SAS, Oksana Libak held master classes on origami in 2012-2017 in the framework of the All-Ukrainian Summer Schools of Art Studies of the Small Academy of Sciences on "Hutsul coloring in spatial compositions".
Since 2006, Oksana Libak has been actively involved in exhibitions and seminars, has held numerous master classes: "The Art of Origami" (Kyiv 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010); "Origami and Geometry" (Uzhgorod, 2008); "Origami and the Present" (Poltava, 2007); "Origami City" (Poltava, 2010), "Constructivism Trends in Origami" (Kharkiv, 2011), "Origami around Us" (Uzhgorod, 2012), "The Art of Origami" (Rivne, 2013). Libak Oksana participated in the international exhibition under the auspices of UNESCO "Tree of the World" (Jerusalem, Israel, 2008), as well as in international exhibitions "Everything is Made of Squares" (Kyiv 2007, 2008, 2012).
