Flood waves moved from Transcarpathia to the territory of Slovakia and Hungary

The maximum water level in the largest rivers of Transcarpathia has left the territory of the region and is currently passing Hungary and Slovakia.

– In the Latorytsya, near Chop, the water level dropped by 40 cm, and in the Tisa – by 10 cm, – Hennadiy Moskal says. – There are no threats of flooding of settlements. The flood wave on the Latorytsya has already gone to the territory of Slovakia, and on the Tisa – to Hungary. The neighbors were warned about the rise in the water level several days ago.

Stationary pumping stations continue to pump out water from agricultural lands in lowland areas of the region.

Recall that as of today’s morning, 116 households are still flooded.
