A real winter is coming to Transcarpathia

From 1 to 10 of December, cold, damp and cloudy weather with precipitation is expected in Transcarpathia. The most difficult conditions will be in the mountainous part.

In most areas of the region, there will be wet snow and snow; only in the plain, in some places, there will be rain. In some cases, in the highlands, there will be wet snow, which will cover most of the mountainous territory. Night air temperatures are expected to range from +1 °C to -4 °C, and daytime temparature – from 0 °C to +5 °C. In the mountains, the temperature at night will drop to -7 to -9 °C, and in the daytime – -4 to -6 ° C.

Ice covering is expected on the roads of the mountainous part of Transcarpathia. At night and in the morning, mountain valleys protected from wind will be covered with fog with a visibility of 200-500 meters.
