A Mukachevo inventor presented a device for spine stretching

It was presented in Mukachevo to the public. Ivan Koturbach was developing the model for almost two years.

 Recently, the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine granted him a patent for the model – a device for spine stretching.   

 Inventor Ivan Koturbach noted that his device is adapted for effective spine stretching only by the body’s own weight and allows the patient to stay on the device for a long time without pain and to maintain the results of stretching. Due to the fixation of legs on the device, the patient’s spine is stretched by the body’s own weight. The device allows to adjust the angle of inclination and lifting of the body, the force of spine stretching.  It can be done by patient himself using a console with a drive mechanism, or with the help of a health care worker.

The duration of patient’s stay in the chosen most effective position depends on the severity of the patient’s spine injury and is calculated according to the method.
