The project "This Way We’ll Win" finished with an outdoor artistic performance, prayer, field kitchen and inflammation of four candles for each year of the ongoing war.
On Independence Day of Ukraine, the exhibition "For Soldiers From Artists" and the project "This Way We’ll Win" closed in Uzhgorod. During it, people watched a film about the war, examined weapons, saw how border guards defend Ukraine, ran for a soldier, etc.
On the closing day of the exhibition, on Rakoczy street near the "Owl’s Nest", priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate greeted people with prayers and important words, and then the organizers took the opportunity to present the awards to the volunteers of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers. 40 volunteers received state decorations "For humanitarian participation in the antiterrorist operation".
The culmination of the day was the inflammation of four candles in memory of every year of the Russian-Ukrainian war. They remembered the key moments of the events at the front and, of course, commemorated the dead. The first candle for 2014 was lighted by the widows of our Heroes – Olena Buzd and Nadia Rehotun with her daughter.
Reports on the results of the charitable project, designed to help the army, are already published on the pages "This Way We’ll Win" and the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers. The total amount of funds raised at all events in the framework of the project is 31 thousand hryvnia.
