The police opened the criminal proceeding over the death of a resident Chynadiyevo, who collided with a concrete pillar while driving a scooter. The investigation is establishing the circumstances of the accident.
At about 19.15, the service "102" reported about an accident on Sadova street in the village of Chynadiyevo in Mukachevo district. At the scene of the accident, the police found out that the driver of the scooter, moving at a slow speed, did not notice the concrete barrier and crashed into it.
According to the investigator of the Mukachevo district police department, who worked at the scene of the road accident, the 39-year-old victim did not even try to brake when approaching the pillar. As a result of the crash, the man died on the spot.
The police opened a criminal proceeding over the accident under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Violations of the traffic rules leading to the victim’s death. The pre-trial investigation over this incident continues.
