Yesterday, in Uzhgorod, a car was burning

The police received the report of a fire on Mozhaisky street at 17:55 - the Mukachevo.net informs.

According to the press service of the police, having arrived at the scene, they found out that a black car Mercedes was burning. The entire front of the car, engine compartment and front seats burned down.

A criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Article 194, intentional damage to property by arson, has been opened.

Today, a number of examinations will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire.

Currently it is unknown if it was arson. However, given the fact that the owner of the car Mercedes-Benz ML is an operative of the economic crime department (officially, the car is registered for the police officer's wife), and the car was set on fire at the end of the day near the police station, the conclusion suggests itself. But, of course, let's wait for the findings of experts.

Meanwhile, the sources of Mukachevo.net in law enforcement insist that it was not just arson, but intimidation, as the said police colonel is investigating the case on large-scale production of counterfeit vodka in Western Ukraine, including Transcarpathia.
