You can take free IT courses in Uzhgorod City Library
Information technologies today are one of the few industries that continue to evolve despite the crisis. Therefore, retraining of specialists from other sectors to IT is becoming more frequent. But those who want to get into the IT field do not always know where to begin their journey, which IT profession to choose, in addition, people often lack technical facilities.
Recently, there was a meeting of the Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Bilak with the chief of the BrainBasket fund Volodymyr Lyulka, during which they discussed the implementation of the nationwide educational project Technology Nation, which would allow people to take free courses on the basics of programming from world's leading technical universities under the blended learning model and gain basic IT-education.
The project will start in March and will be implemented as a training center in the central city library in Uzhgorod.
The implementation of this project is a chance for residents who wish to work in the IT-sphere, but do not know where to start or do not have the financial facilities to implement the plan.
Volunteers (programmers, computer science teachers, etc.) and all caring activists, who want to teach people, are invited to participate in the project
