Uzhgorod police caught thieving carolers
On Christmas Eve, an Uzhgorod pensioner wanted to listen to Christmas carols, but instead lost a mobile phone. The police caught the thieves.
Last night, a resident of Uzhgorod let three carolers in the house. A married couple with a child sang carols and decided "to take a reward" - the old woman's mobile phone.
The woman immediately noticed the loss and reported it to the police. The police tracked down and arrested dishonest carolers. One of the detainees was previously convicted for theft.
Law enforcers returned the phone to the woman. And thanks to their vigilance, they saved many Uzhgorod residents from Christmas Eve spoiled with thefts.
