This year, local authorities are implementing e-government
Members of the Regional Council approved the Program of activity of Transcarpathian Regional Contact Center for 2016.
The program of the activity of this public institution is aimed at identification of problem issues of public policy via feedback, ensuring of rapid response to the needs of citizens.
One of the most important mechanisms of interaction with the public is responding to appeals of citizens, enterprises, institutions and organizations, individual entrepreneurs, local authorities and others.
So the objective of the Program is to define the basic principles of creating a system of processing of applications to executive bodies and local authorities, through which prompt response to the request of the public, monitoring of the major issues that require decision-making at the local and state level, as well as informing of citizens about the priority issues of the state policy together with the executive power will be ensured.
- It is expected that the implementation of the Program will help to introduce a mechanism of e-governance in the work of the executive authorities with the public, - the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Mykhailo Rivis said, adding: - And also, to ensure responsiveness to problematic issues raised in the appeals of citizens, to improve governance efficviency, quality of decisions on important issues of public life, taking into account public opinion.
The implementation of this program will create an additional mechanism to inform the public on public policy, will provide a comprehensive solution of problems with which citizens appeal to executive agencies and will increase public trust in government authorities.
The program will be implemented at the expense of the regional budget. For this purpose, 534,100 UAH is allocated for 2016.
