There are no reasons to introduce quarantine in Uzhgorod

From 5 to 15 of January 2016, 722 cases of ARVI were registered in Uzhgorod, including 490 children. 46 people were hospitalized. Overall, the incidence of ARVI is 63.3 per 10 thousand people that does not exceed the epidemic threshold and is 8.8% less than that in the previous week (792 cases of ARVI, including 600 children).

In Uzhgorod 2 cases of A flu confirmed by rapid tests have been registered. The affected - an 81-year-old female pensioner and a 10-year-old child - were hospitalized in the regional clinical infectious diseases hospital.

According to the head of the health department of Uzhgorod city council Vasyl Reshetar, on Friday, the daily monitoring of the number of registered patients in the city (ie persons seeking medical help) was introduced. Today, the daily monitoring of the absence of children sick with ARVI was introduced in schools and educational institutions of Uzhgorod.

The analysis shows that the incidence of ARVI and influenza among residents of Uzhgorod is almost in the same range as in the same period last year.
