The Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary visited Uzhgorod

The EU decided to allocate 70 million euros for infrastructure development of border regions of Ukraine and four EU countries that border to each other. Half of the amount (35 million euros) will be allocated for Ukraine.

This was announced in Uzhgorod by the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affais and Trade of Hungary Zsolt Csutora at the meeting with the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal. During the meeting, which was attended by the heads of the Consulates General of Hungary in Uzhgorod (Jozsef Buhaylo) and Beregovo (Endre Salipski) and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affais and Trade of Hungary, they discussed economic and political issues, including providing better conditions for the development of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia.

Z.Csutora also said that Hungary is willing to take 20 wounded soldiers from the ATO area for treatment. Recall that last autumn, on the initiative of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, twenty Ukrainian servicemen wounded during military operations in the Donbass were treated in this country. And now, Hungary has expressed willingness to receive as many more Ukrainians .

During the meeting H. Moskal informed the guest from Hungary about the situation on the "Dragobrat" and assured that he would do everything possible to minimize the negative effects of the widely-publicized case, especially on the tourism industry.
