Moskal argues that there is a "trace" behind the "gun from the Dragobrat"
The website of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration published the statement of the head of the Administration Hennadiy Moskal. We repost it without comment.
"The number of those seeking publicity around the crime on the "Dragobrat" is constantly increasing, - the head of Transcarpathia Hennadiy Moskal says. - Every day, new speculation and outright lies appears, including a letter allegedly written on my behalf to the "Right Sector" in Russian. Proponents of the "Right Sector" change their statements about the owners of the "Khata Mahnata" several times a week.
And very few people base their statements on the real facts about the crime on the "Dragobrat", which are:
First, it was not "Khata Mahnata" that went to the "Right Sector" base in the village of Novogrodivka in Donetsk region, but vice versa - the "Right Sector" came to the Transcarpathian ski resort and started showdown there.
Second, before the conflict, the representatives of the RS had been drinking, which was admitted even by their defenders, and were carrying illegal firearms. The same firearms, according to ballistic examination, had been used by them before in several crimes in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
Thirdly, the handgun seized from one of the RS members was not captured in a battle with the separatists or the Russian army in the Donbass, but stolen on February 18, 2014 during the capture of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Ivano-Frankivsk region. And if it was not for the incident on the "Dragobrat", the gun would not have been found."
